I finally hit a quarter of a century this past weekend and boy what a fun weekend it was. I wanted each night to have a special outfit that would fit perfectly with each occasion. My birthday was the 26th which happened to fall on a Sunday. I took off the whole weekend and planned festivities. I absolutely adore this romper from Fashion Nova. Friday we went to Surf City to sip some rosé on the couches in the sandpit overlooking the boats. I knew I wanted something lightweight and bright to pop on my ridiculous spray tan. I love that this romper can be tied multiple ways for different looks. This was the dress I wore to an unbelievable seafood dinner with my boyfriend Saturday night. I remember I saw Hilary Duff wearing a black latex leather dress on an episode of Younger. It wasn’t strapless but I absolutely loved the look. It was sexy and different. The kind of dress that demands attention and you have to be a little ballsy to wear it. I found the black strapless version of this dress on Revolve by the brand By The Way. I had to go with red as soon as I saw it. I just thought this in red with a red lip would be show stopping…and it was. I will definitely outfit repeat again. Shoes are black strappy pumps by Sam Edelman. Sunday

Sunday was the big 25! I did a three hour brunch at Poco in the Lower East Side with 17 friends of mine. Then after we went to Mr. Purple rooftop and had more drinks there. I knew I wanted sequins. I knew I wanted to incorporate rose gold or gold. I found this dress on Revolve also by the brand By the Way. I thought about it all day and ran into the bathroom at work to order it because I knew it was the one. It was light pink, yellow and light blue sequin ombré with a completely open back. I wore it with rose gold heels from Steve Madden. This dress is $72.
